An Era of Terror - A Collection of Film Photography by Hatter Marie
An Era of Terror is a project I have been quietly working on for some years now. It is a collection of 35mm film photography that focuses mainly on injustices in America today. It is American history in the making and I hope only to bring attention to the countless crimes against humanity. This project’s main goal is to bring light to the importance of human rights and to highlight the broken system that we live in. To remind you to be kind to one another and to not sit by and be complacent.
Stand up, make a difference and save lives.
Today is not about this project nor is it about art. Today is about freedom.
Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free.
