About Hatter Marie

I've never been the type of like to start off introducing myself with a nick-name, but with that said my friends call me Hatter. I've been interested in art for as long as I can remember, as a kid I recall being excited to learn that I could draw my own pictures to color... instead of just coloring out of a book. I was immediately drawn to animations and found the whole concept of art used in animation, that every frame was drawn by someone, somewhere, absolutely fascinating. My mother being the amazing person that she is saw this at an early age and helped me in every aspect to follow my love for the arts, from private classes, providing supplies and most importantly unending support over the years. From high school age I had access to show my art in galleries, events and even sold some of my works.

My love for art did not stop there, I experimented in as many mediums as I could get my hands on. I continued into collage focusing on principles of 3D Design and Fine Arts. I started dabbling with photography and soon fell in love with the adventures it took me on. I loved that this type of art, led to meeting new people, traveling and collaborating with so many different and artistic individuals. My photography was soon to be published internationally, featured in galleries and approved by local molding agencies. I continued to use my artistic background in graphic designing and help create numerous magazines and books. While I truly love photography and graphic designing after a while my introverted tendencies took over and I choose to take a hiatus for personal reasons, but I never stopped painting and drawing.

Today I'd love to say I do it all.  I am very lucky to have a 9-5 that allows me to provide artistic guidance to creative individuals, teaching classes and even creating my own projects from time to time. I'm open to photography of all types, graphic designing, painting, drawling and even sculpture when I have the time and resources! I love talking with individuals that are interested in the arts and providing any constructive advice possible. Feel free to browse my portfolio for samples of all of my work, and if there is anything that catches your eye you can always check my shop or contact me directly with any questions!

Lastly, I wanted to again thank my family and friends for all of your support over the years. Art is something I've poured my soul into and I would have never been able to do so without all of you.
